After looking through the options in IPB 3.0, I determined graphical signatures are suitable. Guests (people not logged in) will not see signatures, so it won't slow them down any. If you, a member, do not want it to slow you down any, you can disable signatures from "Your Options" -> "View/Posting/Email Prefs" -> "Board Settings" and uncheck "View members' signatures when reading topics?".

I know this isn't an important issue at the moment, but I figured I'd see what everyone else thought

We were thinking 450x100 with a maximum size of 50kb. Let me know what you all think. Voting will end on 07/19/2009
