Changing Oil Pan Gasket

Hello, need to know what you need to do to change the oil pan gasket on a 1993 Mazda ... is it difficult? someone said you need to lift the motor out blah blah blah...

On a 4 cyl you need to remove the front portion of the exhaust. In the v6 you need to remove the transverse member(crossmember) aas well as the front portion of the exhaust.

Besides that it is pretty easy.

On a 4 cyl you need to remove the front portion of the exhaust. In the v6 you need to remove the transverse member(crossmember) aas well as the front portion of the exhaust.

Besides that it is pretty easy.


On the V6, you don't need to remove the crossmember, just unbolt the exhaust collectors from the headers.

Your the man, I haven't done this myself I just know that alldata says to remove it.
