Just thought I'd say hello.
I'm Andrew, from Iowa & 27 years old.
I have a currently have a 93 Del Sol w/JRSC.
Lately I've been itching to toss a turbo (or two) on a KL powered vehicle though. After being exposed to them a little bit ... they are growing on me. Havn't decided on a 626, MX6 or 323. Most likey not 323 just due to space reasons and after driving around in an MX-6 the past month ... not sure I like those either. So that kinda narrows it down huh?
I hack on ECU's as a hobby and other uninteresting things, RC cars/planes .. you name it I'm probobly playing with it.

Thanks for the welcome!
Hey Steve, what am I going to do with 200 subscriptions to vibe?
yabaguymia, we actually finished the clutch on the 626 tonight. Drives muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch nicer now. No more having to use 700 lbs of leverage to switch gears. Doesnt enguage right off the floor anymore either.
The MX-6 needs quite a bit, but not a clutch
I hear you might be interested in it and are going to view it in all its majesty this weekend. If you end up not wanting it, I think I'm going to buy it... what the heck right? I have the perfect T3/04E in the basement from my old turbo Prelude laying around. I found a 93 MX6 V6 5spd in Minneapolis for $900/obo but it need 'minor engine work' which I havnt been able to nail down as to what 'minor' is.

minor engine work probably means valve cover gaskets. also, at around 100K the water pump goes out on the car. but yeah, im gonna take a looksie at it. I love mine, but hell, one with some headers, exhaust, and CAI would be nice to have.

I don't believe it has headers, just exhaust (which I havn't looked at yet). They claimed a high-flow cat and it has some sort of oval tipped Magnaflow on it. This thing is LOUD... not my cup of tea
I would bet it has no cat and only a resonator on it... maybe not even that. I'll look under it with a flashlight tonight and see.
Otherwise it seems to be a decent car, in my book. Couple small things which I think shes told you about, but nothing major. This car came a LONG way from when we first picked it up, thats all I gotta say!

Escorts are much easier to find than 323s - same car FYI. The motor mount locations are the same, so a KLZE swap into those is not hard work at all.
Single turbos are good for the KL; dual is doable, but questionable imho. GOod luck though!
